Automatic Livestock Feeding System
(Intelligent Feeding Center)
- Large-scale dairy and beef farms need more than individual feeding machines. They need a complete feeding workflow that controls ingredient accuracy, reduces feed waste, improves labor efficiency, and keeps daily ration preparation stable. UHAND’s Intelligent Feeding Center provides a fixed feed processing and delivery system for farms with more than 2,000 head, helping turn feeding work into a more measurable, automated, and cost-controlled process.
- Instead of relying on experience-based layout planning, capacity is calculated backward from the farm’s herd structure, ration formula, feeding schedule, and daily production needs. This helps match forage handling, concentrate preparation, TMR mixing, and feed delivery capacity from the beginning, reducing bottlenecks and avoiding oversized or mismatched equipment.
- From system design and R&D to manufacturing and control software, UHAND provides a fully self-developed and self-manufactured solution, with no outsourcing or subcontract production. This supports better system coordination, more stable data transfer, and stronger long-term reliability for large farm operations.

Product Advantages
Extreme Accuracy
- Lower Ingredient Loss
With UHAND’s self-developed control system, tested feeding errors are controlled at 0.5 kg for concentrate feed, 3 kg for silage, and 2 kg for hay. This level of precision helps farms reduce raw material waste and keep ration formulation more consistent. - Higher Dosing Precision
Compared with the industry average, batching accuracy is reported to be 70% higher. For large farms, this can directly support better ration control, more reliable feeding data, and lower feed cost risk. - Measurable Cost Savings
Based on improved accuracy and reduced raw material loss, a farm can save about USD 200,000 to 280,000 per year, calculated from RMB 1.5 million to 2 million in annual raw material savings.
High-Efficiency Belt Conveying
- Faster Forage Delivery
High-efficiency belt feeding technology replaces the traditional chain scraper method for roughage conveying. This improves delivery speed while reducing mechanical resistance and energy use. - Higher Throughput, Lower Energy Use
UHAND conveying efficiency can reach 600 m³/h, compared with an industry average of about 240 m³/h. This represents a 50% efficiency increase and a 20% reduction in energy consumption.
Scientific Customization
- No Template-Based Layout
System capacity is not copied from a standard model. It is calculated according to the farm’s herd structure, ration formula, feeding time, and workflow requirements. - Better Capacity Matching
Concentrate feed, forage, mixing, and delivery sections are planned as one coordinated process. This helps prevent production bottlenecks, reduce idle capacity, and improve the overall efficiency of the feeding center.
Stable and Secure Operation
- Self-Developed Control System
Core control software and all major unit equipment are independently developed and produced by UHAND. This reduces compatibility risks often found in mixed systems assembled from different suppliers. - More Reliable Data Flow
Integrated system design supports smoother data transfer between equipment and control units, helping farms avoid third-party software limitations and improve daily management stability.
ROI Analysis
- Core Profit Drivers
In-House Concentrate Production + Accurate Loss Control - In-House Concentrate Feed Production
With the feeding center, farms can produce concentrate feed internally, reducing the brand premium, packaging cost, and logistics cost associated with commercial feed. In markets with high feed prices, the full equipment investment can often be recovered in about one year. - Lower Long-Term Maintenance Cost
Compared with mobile feeding fleets, a fixed feeding center has a more durable structure and a more stable operating process. UHAND also provides original factory after-sales support, helping reduce long-term operation and maintenance costs.
Global Track Record
UHAND has successfully delivered over 30 automatic feeding systems for large-scale farms, serving two core sectors: Dairy and Beef.
